"Promo Seemed Sketchy, So I Just Paid Full Price"
I saw the promo and it just didn’t feel very legit to me at the time. Maybe it was real, maybe it wasn’t, but something about the way it was presented made me hesitate, and I didn’t want to risk dealing with a weird discount issue or having the offer not apply correctly at checkout. In the end, I just went ahead and paid the full price instead. Not the worst thing ever, but it did leave me feeling like the promotion could have been clearer or a little more trustworthy-looking.

"Shoes Fell Apart Fast and They Blamed Me"
I’m really annoyed. The shoes started splitting way sooner than they should have, and when I reached out about the warranty, the response was basically useless. Instead of actually helping, they just blamed it on “normal wear,” which feels like a total cop-out. If a pair of shoes falls apart that quickly, that’s on the product, not me.

I sent my order back and thought the refund would be straightforward, but it ended up taking ages. I was already busy and felt like I kept having to rush around chasing them for updates, only to get vague replies back. The money did come through in the end, but it was much slower than I expected. Not a great experience really

"I signed up for the loyalty thing…"
I signed up for the loyalty thing thinking, okay, maybe I’ll save a little or at least get something useful out of it, but the points barely made a difference. And the rules were kind of confusing, like I kept thinking I understood how it worked and then at checkout it just didn’t apply for me. Maybe I missed something, but if it takes that much effort to figure out, it’s not really worth it. I probably wouldn’t bother joining again.

I tried to return my order and it was actually just a hassle from start to finish. The replies were slow, and it wasn’t very clear what I was supposed to do next. i don’t think I’ll bother ordering from here again...

"Not the experience I was expecting"
I expected a much better experience, but I left feeling disappointed. It felt like the staff were ignoring me most of the time, and when I did get their attention, they came across as rude. I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary, just basic courtesy, so it was frustrating

"Disappointing quality for the price"
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a pair of trainers to last more than two wears, but these started falling apart almost straight away. I’m disappointed, to be honest, for what I paid, I feel like the quality should have been much better.

I’m disappointed with the exchange process. I was just trying to swap for a different size, but it ended up feeling slow and confusing. I didn’t really get clear updates, so I had to keep following up myself, which got frustrating. Maybe others have had a smoother experience, but for me it felt like way too much hassle for something that should’ve been simple. Not sure I’d order again after this.

It showed as in stock when I placed the order, but then it was cancelled again. I thought maybe it was just a glitch the first time, well, I hoped it was—but the same thing happened again. Frustrating when the site says it’s available and then you still don’t get it.

"Checkout put me off"
I tried ordering from achillesheel.co.uk, but the payment options were frustrating. I was expecting things like PayPal or a pay-later option, but it all felt limited and a bit unclear once I got to checkout. I didn’t really want to enter my card details, so I ended up abandoning the order. What annoyed me more is that when you hit issues like this, it feels like nobody takes ownership or makes it easy to get help. Shame, because I did want to buy, but the checkout really needs to be easier.

"Info wasnt right"
I ordered these trainers based on the size guide and details on the product page, but when they arrived they didnt match up at all. The fit felt completely different and there was some important info missing that wouldve helped. Ended up having to send them back, which was annoying.

I was let down. There were hardly any brands I actually wanted to shop from, so it just felt like a waste of time tbh. I expected a better selection, but it was kinda dissapointing.

"Good service, but the prices stung a bit"
I ordered a pair of trainers from achillesheel.co.uk and the whole process was smooth. Delivery turned up fine and there wasn’t anything wrong with the service itself, so no real complaints there.

That said, I’m quite careful with what I spend, and I did feel like the price was a bit on the high side. I ended up spotting the same trainers cheaper elsewhere after I’d bought them, which was frustrating. Overall, it was okay, but I’m not sure I’d rush back unless the price was better

"Left Waiting With No Real Info"
I got the confirmation email, but it barely told me anything useful. I basically had to sit there and be patient for no reason, wondering if my order actually went through or not. A little more detail would’ve saved a lot of unnecessary guessing.

I placed an order and then needed to make a quick update, but getting a response was a hassle. My emails just sat there, and I had to keep following up, which wasn’t not frustrating. The ordering part might be fine, but the lack of communication really put me off. I can’t say I’d use them again

"Sizing was way off"
I ordered my usual size, but like I said, they felt at least a full size too small. The size guide wasn’t really helpful either, so I ended up having to send them back, which was just annoying. Like I said, the fit was way off, and I probably wouldn’t order shoes from here again unless they make the sizing info a lot clearer.

"Fitting advice seemed promising… then not so much"
I tried the personalised fitting advice on achillesheel.co.uk thinking it would actually help me get the right shoes. At first I was optimistic, like okay, maybe this will save me the usual guessing game. Then the shoes arrived and nope, they just didn’t feel right at all. Suddenly I was more annoyed than hopeful because the advice felt really generic for something that was supposed to be personalised. I expected better and ended up wasting time sorting out a return.
